Simple Ace brief tutorial
The Simple Ace Web application allows you to login via Web application at:
https://manifest.simpleace.com/

Enter username and password:
Creating your database:
Start by configuring your company information, including SCAC and carrier code.
All red dots are mandatory fields that need to be completed.
Simple Ace Toolbar:
Use the Simple Ace toolbar to navigate through the options on the screen.
Next you will be required to create drivers, units (tractors and trailers) and shipper / consignees and merchandise. Red dots are mandatory fields.
Create drivers:
Create shipper(s) /consignee(s):
Create commodities:
Create power units:
Create trailers:
ACE manifest
Different types of US ACE shipments:
Start by selecting US flag trip button from main menu page, you will be required to select power unit, trailer , driver ,port of entry and also date and time ,then save. At this point we will add shipments, click on add a shipment
You will now create your shipment(s) for this manifest, select the type of shipment from drop down: select one
- BRASS
- CF-3311
- CF-3299
- Inbond
- PAPS
- Section 321
Complete trip information , shipper, consignee, PAPS # and merchandise description.
You are now ready to submit ACE manifest to CBP , click on generate and send trip , this will send ACE manifest to CBP.
Go to manifest control section now
In the manifest control section, you will see the status of ACE manifest
Status field descriptions:
Waiting to be sent to Simple Ace: | The system has an automatic batch processor that gathers the e-manifests records that are ready to send to Simple Ace. The process runs every two (2) minutes. If the status doesn't change within a 10-minute period, contact your technical support staff. Verify if your internet has temporarily been affected by a service outage, thus preventing the file from being sent to Simple Ace. |
Sent to Simple Ace: | The e-manifest(s) have successfully been transmitted to Simple Ace. |
Sent to CBP-Sent to CBSA: | The Simple Ace system has an automatic batch processor that gathers all completed manifests and sends them to CBP and CBSA every five (5) minutes. If the status field doesn't change, contact Simple Ace. |
Accepted: | The manifest has been accepted by CPB/CBSA. |
Accepted (Final): | The manifest for an “empty load” has been accepted by CBP/CBSA. |
Refused: | The manifest has been refused by CPB/CBSA. To verify the reason for refusal, highlight the appropriate record and right-click to view the reason for refusal. |
Once the manifest has been approved by the CBP or CBSA and the status is “Accepted”, you can now preview your manifest and print it.
ACI manifest
Different types of ACI CBSA shipments:
Same procedure as ACE , start by selecting Canadian flag trip button at main menu, you will be required to select power unit, trailer, driver ,port of entry and also date and time and then save. At this point add shipments, click on add a shipment
You will now create you shipment(s) for this manifest, select the type of shipment from drop down: select one
- Courier Low Value
- Flying Trucks
- Inbond
- IIT
- PARS
- Postal
Complete trip information, shipper, consignee, PARS # and merchandise description.
You are now ready to submit your ACI manifest to CBSA, click on generate and send trip, this will send ACI e-manifest to CBSA, same as in ACE section.
Go to manifest control section now to see status of manifest
Verify status of manifest and when accepted , view and print
Creating an Empty load manifest ACE or ACI
Tractor and trailer are entering the US or Canada empty, a manifest must be created accordingly.
- From the trips menu option, select the new icon on the toolbar.
- Enter the tractor, trailer, driver, port of entry, date of crossing, and select the empty load checkbox.
- Select save, then select the add a shipment option.
- Enter the pertinent shipper/consignee information, no commodity details.
- Generate and send trip to complete the empty load manifest request.
- Go to manifest control to see status and print once accepted.
